Today was an amazing day, jam packed with activity. We took the kids to the Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch - it was the first time for all of us. It was a cute little place way out in Arcadia. I bought all this animal food for the kids thinking they would love feeding the animals but, alas...I'm afraid I have city children. Chris didn't want to get his hands dirty and Lexi was a bit afraid...she did at least try though.
Chris did pet a few but was more interested in trying to make new friends.
They had Llama!
Pony Rides
A Corn Maze
Cute babies
Family Totems
Fun With Hay
Fires for Roasting Stuff
Fun With an Old Dead Tree
A Crazy Tire Swing
A Little Gift Shop
Thrilling Marshmallow Roasts...what's up with their faces here?! This may have been around the time Page started wigging out about the bee's! There were a lot of bees and they were basically swarming us!
Games
A Hayride - on a side note...to the man who decorated along the hay ride trail...seriously? Next year you should really try a little harder-lol.
Chris is definitely up to something in this pic. About 5 minutes later he boycotted any further photographs.
The little one was still game for a few though & I'm so glad we got this one because it shows how much they grow from year to year.
Sweetest little girl EVER!
On our way back we drove by the Historic Round Barn off Route 66! I have lived in Oklahoma my whole life and never seen this!
We also stopped by a fairly new addition off Route 66 called Pops! They have like every kind of soda pop you could ever imagine, in every color of the rainbow. We only stayed a few minutes but we each got a soda. Page said they actually have really good food there too.
After that we dashed home and started getting ready for Trick or Treat with the Douglas' & the Robinson's.
I had to stop and have a few minutes of snuggle time with Mr. Buns first.
The kids got so much candy they had to dump their full buckets out and start refilling - it was craziness!
Here are a few pics of our little ghouls.
Every time she got candy in her bucket she would run over and say...Look how much candy I got!
Again...with cutie Sydney in the background!
Mr. Buns was just along for the ride. Cutest costume ever (thank you to Jaci & her mom - who actually made this costume for Jet several years ago!
Hannah with Mr. Buns
Make-Up all coming off but still adorable
This may be a record for longest post ever but, as I said, it was an amazing day!
